Ronaldo unscathed in Ferrari crash

ronaldo-crashesManchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo was unharmed as his Ferrari crash near Manchester Airport.

Ronaldo drove his Ferrari beneath the tunnel when he crashed into the barriers. The accident happened at Altrincham Road, Cheshire, at about 1020 GMT.

Team mate Edwin van der Sar, who was is his Bentley, was behind Ronaldo but was not involved in the crash.

Police have said that Ronaldo was very lucky not to injured himself during the crash, considering the amount of damage to his car.

Ronaldo was in the car with his team mate, Manucho, but the Angolan international was also unhurt in the crash.

Onlooker Jody Lomax, who was driving just behind Ronaldo saw the crash and said the Portuguese winger was ‘left shaken’.

“I was shocked. Anyway he was all right, he was walking – he was a bit shaken.”

A club spokesman said:

“He was involved in an incident this morning. No other cars were involved.

“He’s fine and is training as normal with the team this morning.”
